Individual Briefings before Maternity Leave, etc.

We provide employees with individual briefing sessions before their maternity or childcare leave starts. These meetings are designed to provide employees with information about childbirth-related programs and benefits available to them so they can feel more at ease and give them an overall picture of what they can expect until they return to work. We have also made a manual and distributed it to the relevant employees and their supervisors to help them better understand how the leave works.

Paid Childcare Leave

Employees may apply for up to three days of paid leave during their childcare leave period. Paid leave can be taken in full-day installments.
We also encourage employees to take advantage of the Mom & Dad Childcare Leave Plus program (which allows an employee to extend his/her childcare leave until the child is fourteen months old if his/her spouse also takes childcare leave).

Keeping Employees on Leave Informed

We send monthly e-mail magazines to keep employees on leave informed about what’s happening at the company, such as progress with our business operations and new developments, so that they won’t feel like they’re out of the loop during their long leave of absence and can make the transition back to work go smoothly.

Alumni Recruitment Program

Since December 2021, we have been operating a reemployment program (the “Comeback Program”) for employees who left the company due to unavoidable circumstances such as childbirth, childcare, or nursing care.
We have now expanded the scope of this program and relaunched it as the “Alumni Recruitment Program”, which offers former Morito Group employees who left the company for personal reasons, other than those listed above, the opportunity to return and play an active role with us once again.
