Employment rate of persons with disabilities

The Act to Facilitate the Employment of Persons with Disabilities requires companies with 43.5 or more employees to employ persons with disabilities at a rate equal to or higher than the legally mandated rate. Due to the company split in June 2022 and retirements, the employment rate at Morito Co., Ltd. and Morito Apparel Co., Ltd. temporarily fell below the standard, but we will strive to meet the legal requirement.
*Morito Auto-Parts Co., Ltd. is not included because the number of employees is below the legal standard.
(As of June 1 of each year: Based on the "Report on the Employment of Persons with Disabilities")

Percentage of employees taking paid annual leave

In 2025, the percentage was 64.2% for Morito Co., Ltd., 70.2% for Morito Japan Co., Ltd., 67.2% for Morito Apparel Co., Ltd. and 72.9% for Morito Auto-Parts Co., Ltd.

Data on childcare

● Number of employees taking maternity/childcare leave
At Morito, many employees take maternity and childcare leave every year, and most of them return to work. We also encourage male employees to take childcare leave, which more and more men are doing.
● Number of employees working shorter hours for childcare
At Morito, employees who live with and care for a child who has not started elementary school are eligible to work shorter hours for childcare purposes. Employees must work a minimum of 5.5 hours per day and may choose their own start time.
In addition, employees with a child who starts elementary school may change their employment status to regular part-time, working either 5.5 or 6 hours per day, until the end of the child’s third grade.
